Description   The Project Managers responsibility is to handle the overflow of design and artwork for marketing materials. The work will be managed seamlessly through an external agency. Direct client contact, excellent communication, great artwork knowledge, administration and financial management skills will all be required for this varied, interesting and busy role. Whilst the role demands independent working, the Project Manager will work within the Agency, as part of the production team. · - Liaising with clients to ensure that the work is delivered quickly, on budget and to the brief · - Working with the agency account management team and workflow manager to ensure internal capacity is maximised · - Briefing external creative team members directly on new projects and amends to work (both written and verbal briefs) · - Receiving output from external team, checking execution against brief, amend incorporation, quality control and ensuring delivery back to the client · - Working with the Fidelity agency print manager to develop work schedules and provide accurately timely production information · - Working with the production head to project budgets for the month, quarter and year · - Planning the execution of projects, managing workload on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. · - Managing work against agreed schedule in order to ensure timely delivery · - Accurately estimating the design time required for each project and reviewing the estimate against external agency quotation · - Financial management of all external agency work, maximising efficiency of the spend and ensuring best value for money · - Referring work to the internal creative team to ensure consistent brand management. · - Producing client and senior management reports · - Managing the Fidelity agency MIS for external work including creating job codes and completion of Fidelity agency project timesheets · - Managing the flow and archiving of artwork files Key Skills · - In-depth understanding of design and artwork · - Ability to track and manage tasks across parallel projects to ensure deadlines are met · - Time management - scheduling projects and resource time accurately · - Resource management - tracking the workload of a number of resources and allocate tasks to appropriate - individuals in a way that maximises the time available · - Effective Communication - ensuring everyone understands the priorities and that clients expectations are - made clear · - Eye for detail - ability to quality check deliverables to ensure requirements have been met and amendments - are correctly incorporated · - Administration skills - systematic tracking costs and recording time to produce accurate accounting, client - and management reporting
